BOARDING

Wonmanog Kennels strives to make each of our guests'
stay with us as comfortable and positive as possible.

Through our decades-worth of experience, we have found that socialization through monitored outdoor group exercising sessions is a fundamental component to promoting a truly comfortable environment for your pet. These sessions provide not only the daily exercise that all pets need, but also the opportunity for interaction between your pet, our staff, and the other pets staying with us. This interaction is essential to instilling a sense of security and ease in an environment that is removed from the familiarity of a pet's own home.

All dogs staying here will be provided with clean and spacious indoor quarters complete with an insulated rubber matting covered with plush clean bedding to insure their comfort while they relax indoors. All dogs will also be given supervised access to a large clean outdoor exercise yard. From early morning to late evening, each pet will be exercised a minimum of FIVE times per day to allow them to have the freedom to stroll about as they take care of their needs and socialize with the other dogs staying with us.

It is our mission to make your experience entrusting your furry friend's care to Wonmanog Kennels as low maintenance and stress-free as possible. We provide everything your pet(s) will need during their stay with us. All bedding, exercise, food and treats are provided and INCLUDED in our daily rate. For over 30 years, we have only ever offered one boarding package - and to this day that package remains the deluxe package!

STARTING OUT

To begin the process, please give us a call so that we can discuss your dog's individual personality and needs, and how a stay with us will be a positive and rewarding experience.

Wonmanog Kennels requires first time boarding dogs come in for assessment by means of participation in a day of our Daycare service before their boarding stay. The goal is to have your pet become familiar with our staff and routine, while we evaluate what exercise-group sessions will best fit your dog. We will provide you with updates both mid-morning as well as the end of the day on your dog's behavior and level of enjoyment in our numerous play sessions, as well as two indoor breaks, that comprise our Daycare schedule.

It is very important to us that your dog is comfortable and relaxed while visiting Wonmanog, and that all new dogs add to the positive energy that is the basis for the overall well being of all our guests. Ideally, at least two to three weeks lead time prior to your scheduled boarding stay is best in order to have ample time for this process. Your dog's behavior during these evaluation sessions will help guide us in determining the routine which works best for their particular acclimation and maximized enjoyment of their visit with us.
